The Plaster Rock Panthers Volleyball Club is a provincial-level club for girls ages 10-14. The Panthers are in their first year of provincial volleyball and are striving to represent our community, our club, and our families with excellence, respect and integrity.
Our overriding goal is to help our players have fun, learn how to play the game at a high level and develop invaluable life-skills, such as teamwork, acceptance, good sportsmanship and working towards and achieving goals.
The club is funded through their major sponsor -- World Pond Hockey , as well as through various fundraising initiatives, and from the Province of NB’s GO NB fitness grant. The funds secured and raised to date have been used to purchase uniforms, balls, and cover some of the registration and tournament costs. In addition we were able to purchase a leading edge piece of training equipment called an Accuspike. The machine auto loads balls, at an adjustable height, to allow for children to develop their spike and block technique. We are only the second club in NB to secure this piece of equipment. To view this machine please see the picture and video shown below.
